"Four The Future"

During the last decade, 100 Black Men of America Inc. has proven that Blacks can and do excel in corporate and community leadership. The 100 has also proven that the training and support that they give thousands of youth each year has improved their opportunities to stabilize their learning environment, become self supportive and eventually empower them to control their own destinies

Even though the organization has made outstanding progress, the changing times brought new challenges and yielded many unanticipated opportunities. In response, the National President, Thomas W. Dortch, Jr., unveiled an aggressive plan during the 1995 national convention in Jackson, Mississippi, to focus the organization.

Cleverly titled, FOUR FOR THE FUTURE, the plan addresses four areas deemed critical to insuring the future of our youth and community at large. The plans strategic directions are

1.Education
2.Mentoring
3.Economic Development
4.Health and Wellness

Since that time the organization has channeled all its resources towards these areas although this has always been part of the '100 movement.' In 1995, the organization fully outlined a long-term strategy for addressing these critical areas. In the future, 100 Black Men of America, Inc. will continue to increase the number of local chapters and will expand its outreach to the community. The members will always work to improve the success rates of blacks and other minorities throughout the nation and world.
